Edgars Bērziņš is an educator with a broad interest in education administration, history education, and the impact of innovation and AI on learning. He is the official history teacher of the Latvian National Television show “Gudrs, vēl gudrāks” (“Smart, Even Smarter”) and has hosted the program “Vēstures skolotājs” (“The History Teacher”). He collaborates with the Latvian Language Agency, the University of Latvia, and the European Association of History Educators on international education projects, and teaches at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the University of Latvia.

Before joining Samsung, Kris had 25 years of experience designing and installing smart building and control systems in residential and business environments for some of the world's highest-profile buildings and customers, including royal families and movie stars.

A past chairman of CEDIA, the global smart home trade association, Kris has worked globally to develop standards and apprenticeships within the residential control system and AV industry. He regularly delivers keynotes on IoT, smart homes and the future of technology in the built environment.

Artūras gained his expertise in Smart Technologies during his university studies, where he earned a PhD in Computer Science. He has applied this knowledge at JUNG Vilnius, working as a consultant, problem solver, and trainer for KNX Smart Home solutions. His experience includes resolving complex challenges in major projects, such as advising in the planning of the largest indoor sports arena in the Baltic States - Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas - as well as numerous private villas. Currently, he leads a technical support team at JUNG Vilnius, while continuing to enjoy tackling new technical challenges.

Arturs Liberts is an animation producer and creative entrepreneur from Riga, co-founder of JAUDA.TV and a guest lecturer at Rīgas Stradiņa University.

For 15+ years, he has led complex live-action, 2D/3D, and DOOH productions for global brands, guiding international teams from concept to delivery. His track record includes a multi-year program for Microsoft’s retail global experiences, with productions delivered across the US, Europe, and Australia. He is currently exploring creative-ops practices and AI-assisted workflows, building repeatable systems and testing practical tools that can streamline production inside in-house teams.

Matīss

Academy Award-winning Latvian producer, director and writer.

Matīss is best known for co-writing and producing the animated feature film “Flow” (2024) by Gints Zilbalodis, which won the first ever Golden Globe and Oscar for an independent animated feature. Recent producing credits include “Sisters" (2022, Warsaw Film Festival 1+2 Competition Winner) by Linda Olte, "Drowning Dry" (2024, two awards in the Locarno Main Competition) by Laurynas Bareiša. Matīss has directed and written for live action, documentary and the theatre, including “Neon Spring” (2022, Edinburgh Intl. Film Festival) and critically acclaimed performances at the Latvian National Theatre, like “The Soft Power” (2023) and “The National Channel” (2025). He teaches film directing at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
